Smart Communications, Inc. has entered a strategic partnership with Adobe and Amdocs to revolutionize the mobile operator’s customer experience. With this collaboration, Smart became the first mobile operator in Southeast Asia to adopt the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), enhancing its ability to deliver personalized, real-time services to its subscribers nationwide.
Aimed at fostering a more data-driven and customer-centric approach, the platform will integrate customer insights across multiple channels, enabling Smart to tailor offerings in real time. Adobe’s powerful tools, including the Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (Real-Time CDP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer, will help Smart create individualized experiences at scale via mobile apps, social media, and messaging platforms.
“By leveraging Adobe’s industry-leading technology and Amdocs’ advanced solutions, Smart is now equipped to engage with subscribers more effectively and efficiently than ever before,” said Anastacio ‘Boy’ R. Martirez, chief operating officer of Smart. “This is a significant milestone in our digital transformation and our commitment to delivering amazing customer experiences.”
The collaboration also incorporates generative AI capabilities, enhancing Smart’s ability to understand customer behaviors and optimize interactions. Shashank Sharma, senior director of Adobe Digital Experience for Korea and Southeast Asia, highlighted the importance of the partnership, saying, “Smart is leading the way in redefining customer experiences in the Philippine telecom industry.”
Amdocs, responsible for delivering the platform, praised the collaboration as a significant leap in Smart’s digital journey, with Anthony Goonetilleke, group president of technology at Amdocs, stating, “We are delighted to support Smart in making every customer interaction amazing.”
