    EastWest backs sustainable tourism at 2025 Philippine Travel Mart

    EastWest Bank has entered a partnership with the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) as the exclusive credit card partner of the 36th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM), further strengthening its role in supporting the country’s tourism and travel sectors.

    The partnership was officially announced during a ceremonial signing at The Peninsula Manila, attended by PHILTOA president Arjun P. Shroff, EastWest chief marketing officer Martin Reyes, and PHILTOA board members.

    The 2025 PTM, themed “Boosting NextGen Tourism,” focuses on sustainability, digitalization, inclusivity, and wellness—principles that align closely with EastWest’s mission of enabling more meaningful and financially empowered experiences for Filipino travelers.

    EastWest will showcase a suite of travel-friendly credit card features, including:

    • Flexible installment options for airfare
    • Exclusive travel deals
    • Complimentary travel insurance
    • Airport lounge access for select cardholders

    These offerings reflect the growing demand for financial tools that enhance travel convenience and value. EastWest noted that 85 percent of global travelers and 27 percent in Asia-Pacific use credit cards during trips.

    As part of the Filinvest Group, EastWest also benefits from synergies with Chroma Hospitality, enhancing its understanding of evolving traveler preferences.

    “This partnership is not just about perks—it’s about enabling access, experiences, and opportunities,” said Reyes.

    The 36th Philippine Travel Mart will be held from 5 to 7 September 2025, at the SMX Convention Center Manila, featuring over 300 exhibitors and real-time exclusive deals.
