PSE lifts trading suspension on Asiabest Group

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) has lifted the trading suspension on the shares of Asiabest Group International Inc. (ABG), effective 11:30 today, Friday, marking a significant milestone in the company’s corporate turnaround and strategic repositioning under new ownership and leadership.

The resumption of trading follows the December 2024 acquisition of 66.67 percent of ABG by PremiumLands Corp. (PLC) from Tiger Resorts Asia Limited (TRAL). The deal, led by PLC chairman Francis Lloyd Chua, signaled the beginning of ABG’s transformation into a diversified enterprise with a renewed focus on mass housing and infrastructure development.

“This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter for ABG,” said Chua. “Our vision is to transform ABG into a dynamic player in industries that are part and parcel of our nation’s success: from real estate and mass housing to infrastructure, technology, and sustainable development.”

ABG emphasized its commitment to transparency, regulatory compliance, and shareholder value creation, aligning its corporate direction with high-impact sectors critical to Philippine economic growth.

The strategic pivot will be further strengthened by ABG’s integration into the broader capabilities of the PLC-led consortium. Through Industry Holdings Development Corporation (IHDC)—a key affiliate—ABG gains access to specialized subsidiaries, including Concrete Stone Corp. (CSC), known for its role in building the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), and Industry Movers Corp. (IMC), the group’s maritime logistics arm.

These synergies position ABG to play a central role in infrastructure, construction, and logistics, sectors that are expected to drive the company’s long-term growth.

With the trading suspension officially lifted, ABG is poised to embark on its next phase of expansion, leveraging its new platform to contribute to national development and economic resilience.
