Ninja Van service enhances MSME growth with innovative restocking solution

In an archipelago of more than 7,100 islands, where geography often complicates logistics, Ninja Van Philippines has introduced a game-changing solution for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises aiming for rapid expansion.

The company, whose extensive logistics network stretches from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi, recently introduced Ninja Restock, a new B2B resupply service designed to support businesses of all sizes in scaling their operations across the Philippines.

The service, which started in April, offers flexible restocking services regardless of inventory size or delivery frequency, an  innovative approach that has already demonstrated tangible benefits.

Ninja Restock, for example, has streamlined the replenishment process for Pickup Coffee, leading to significant operational improvements and cost savings.

By consolidating smaller shipments into cost-efficient less-than-truckload deliveries, Ninja Restock has reduced delivery costs by 20 percent and ensured timely replenishment of all Pickup Coffee outlets.

The service has also played a crucial role in maintaining optimal stock levels across Pickup Coffee’s locations, effectively preventing stockouts of high-demand products. This capability has generated approximately 10 percent of revenue that would  otherwise have been lost due to out-of-stock issues.

The robust support provided by Ninja Restock has accelerated Pickup Coffee’s expansion outside Metro Manila. Pickup Coffee opened 30 new outlets across various provinces, including Tarlac, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Cebu, since joining hands with Ninja Restock.

Daily restocking services now ensure that each outlet receives timely replenishment, facilitating the company’s growth across the archipelago.

Ninja Van Philippines is highlighting Pickup Coffee’s success in its latest white paper, “From Shelves to Shoppers: The Art of Seamless Logistics.” This paper emphasizes the critical role of efficient logistics in retail success, addressing common challenges such as understocking, overstocking, and inaccurate inventory tracking.

“One of the primary challenges faced by growing businesses in the Philippines is the timely restocking of high-demand items and stock transfer between locations. While branches near a Luzon-based warehouse may benefit from regular inventory replenishment, traditional or in-house logistics partners often struggle to support regular restocking schedules for storefronts in Visayas and Mindanao,” said Jose Alvin Perez, country head of Ninja Van Philippines.

Adzim Halim, chief international officer of Ninja Van Group, said Ninja Van aims to provide seamless logistics solutions that empower businesses to thrive in a dynamic retail environment. “This white paper reflects our commitment to helping retailers navigate the complexities of B2B restocking,” he said.

Since its entry into Southeast Asia a decade ago, the Ninja Van Group has strategically positioned itself to observe and adapt to the e-commerce sector’s evolution.

This foresight has enabled the Group to expand its services beyond e-commerce into other verticals, including business-to-business inventory restocking and cold chain logistics.

Ninja Restock has rapidly become a vital resource for numerous brands facing B2B restocking challenges, demonstrating Ninja Van Philippines’ commitment to supporting business growth through innovative logistics solutions.
