Ninja Van PH leverages technology to streamline logistics, curb errors

Ninja Van Philippines has launched its Scan-to-Print virtual fulfillment system, harnessing automation to accelerate logistics and minimize costly human errors. The system digitizes orders before they even reach the warehouse, enabling faster parcel sorting and reducing restock delivery times to as little as 1–3 days in Luzon.

Jose Alvin Perez, country head of Ninja Van Philippines, emphasized the strategic role of smart technology in logistics, stating, “Innovation is not just a tool, but a primary problem-solver.”

The process begins with businesses pre-registering shipments via a virtual dashboard. Once boxes arrive at any Ninja Van warehouse, staff scan a single case barcode to retrieve and validate parcel data instantly, ensuring faster and more accurate sorting with minimal manual handling.

This technology aims to address global logistics inefficiencies, with IHL Group research pegging distribution-related losses at US$1.1 trillion annually due to errors in inventory, shrinkage, and returns.

The Scan-to-Print system represents a shift in policy and operational standards, underscoring the necessity of tech adoption in logistics to meet rising customer demands and increasingly complex supply chains.
