BDO Unibank Inc., the country’s largest lender by assets, said Monday it declared a cash dividend of P407.3 million for its series A preferred shares.
The series A preferred shares pay a dividend of 6.5 percent.
The cash dividend will be paid within two months.
BDO Unibank consistently paid dividends on the preferred shares since 2018.
In December, BDO Unibank approved the declaration of regular cash dividends on common shares in the amount of P0.30 per share as fourth quarter dividend, payable Dec. 29. Also on that date, a 20 percent stock dividend was paid to shareholders.
