The insurer FWD Life Insurance Corp. (FWD Philippines) on Monday named Antonio “Jumbing” de Rosas as president and CEO.
His term begins March 1 this year, subject to relevant approvals, according to FWD Philippines’ parent firm FWD Group Holdings Limited.
Jumbing, as colleagues and friends refer to him, is an accountant by training but brings with him more than 35 years of experience not just with insurers but banks as well.
He is also a certified information systems auditor and the fist Filipino to be given the Chartered Global Management Accountant title in the country.
Prior to his elevation as FWD president and CEO, Jumbing served as the insurer’s independent director.
Jumbing also previously top billed the Philippine operations of the insurer Pru Life UK.
