Bayad, considered the biggest multi-channel bills payment platform in the country, has partnered with financial management service provider Omega Business Consulting, Inc. (Omega BCI), to deliver a suite of auditing, data processing, and integrated software services for local and global clients in the retail, banking, and fintech space.
Under the partnership, Bayad will boost the bills payment capability of Omega BCI through its web-based application, Paymybills.
Over 91 have already been onboarded on the platform that cover payments for electric and water utility, cable and internet, government contributions, loan payments, school tuition fees, online shopping, insurance, and many others.
Omega BCI President and CEO, Emmanuel Masangkay said: “Paymybills was borne out of the need to help OFWs conveniently pay for their families’ bills back home, and at the same time help them settle for government contributions, enabling them to save and invest for their future. The greatest service we can give our stakeholders is not just to share our resources but to enable them to effectively manage their finances. Our aim is to empower people.”
Masangkay himself was an OFW in Papua New Guinea, and knows well the value of hard-earned money which is the lifeblood of Bayad’s business.
Bayad President Lawrence Y. Ferrer underscored “We share a collective vision with Omega Business Consulting in elevating the quality of living of our kababayans. All our efforts in Bayad are directed towards the belief that Filipinos deserve to be rewarded for their hard work. We strive to go beyond just providing payment services by empowering families to strengthen their relationships as we drive for borderless financial inclusion.”
