    Premium Leisure gets income lift from pick-up in gaming 

    Premium Leisure Corp., a holding company that invests in gaming-related ventures, said Wednesday its net profit last year rose 12 percent to P1.26 billion on increased gaming activity as the economy picked up pace.

    Consolidated revenues were up 20 percent to P2.080 billion on the back of increased earnings from wholly-owned subsidiary Premium Leisure & Amusement Inc. and its majority-owned Pacific Online Systems Inc.

    Premium Leisure saw revenue rise 20 percent to P1.56 billion while Pacific Online lifted revenue by 22 percent to P519 million.

    Because of strong results in 2022, Premium Leisure declared a regular cash dividend of P0.05024 per share for shareholders on record as of March 15. The dividend will be paid on March 28.
