“Get to the airport well ahead of time”

AirAsia Philippines on Saturday also ruled out flight disruptions on account of an announced week-long transportation strike starting Monday, March 6.

“All AirAsia flights will proceed as scheduled from 6 to 12 March 2023. Our Allstars are already briefed on the potential impact of the land transport strike,” Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines communications and public affairs head, said.

To avoid operational disruptions during this period, the carrier’s people and culture team has arranged transportation services in areas affected by the strike, he added

Dailisan advised passengers to allow at least 4 or 5 hours travel time to the airport to ensure a hassle-free customer journey.

“We have informed our guests through our various communication platforms as early as Friday  to make the necessary preparations during their trip. We continue to improve our On-Time-Performance to ensure our guests arrive at their destinations safely and on time,” he added.

AirAsia Philippines also advised its guests to download the AirAsia super app for faster online check-in and maximize the self-check-in kiosks at the airport.
