The IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) and its stakeholders targets the generation of some 1.1 million new jobs for Filipinos and become a $59 billion industry by the close of the next six years.
The group bared these goals at the launching of the Philippine IT-BPM Industry Roadmap 2028 where they also bared the first IT-BPM career and job fair on Thursday, 27 April 2023.
Students, fresh graduates, and job seekers will get the chance to learn from IT-BPM practitioners and professionals, enhance their knowledge of the sector and the evolving talent landscape, gain access to IBPAP’s expansive network of member organizations, and pursue opportunities with like-minded companies and individuals.
The event will be held virtually on https://itbpm.talenthub.ph/ and will feature jobs postings, exhibitor booths, learning sessions, and many more.
Through the platform, participants will be able to set up a profile and upload their resumes, request a real-time chat with potential employers using text, audio, or video, and watch how-to videos that could give them a leg up in their job search.
The organization urged Filipinos to explore, start, or build a career in the Philippine IT-BPM industry and register early.
