Prime Energy Resources Development B.V. (Prime Energy) has joined the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) which grants it access not only to technical data, standards and guidance and talent development opportunities but also representation in key industry meetings and conferences.
“Our membership of the IOGP, alongside other industry trailblazers, cements our position as an exploration company with established expertise and credibility, especially as the operator of the Malampaya project. Our vision for a cleaner energy Philippines aligns with IOGP’s advocacy to promote a reliable and sustainable energy supply,” said Sebastian Quiniones Jr., Prime Energy managing director.
“As a member, Prime Energy will continue to participate in the organization’s initiative of building a stronger foundation as the industry transition to a low-carbon future,” Quiniones added.
Prime Energy is the 88th member of IOGP, which is a global forum for the upstream industry in the areas of health, safety, security, and environment, engineering, industry and energy transition.
Its members are comprised of integrated energy companies, national oil companies, independent upstream operators, service companies and industry associations from producing regions as the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Collectively, members of IOGP produce 40 percent of the world’s oil and gas.
