The Bureau of Customs (BOC) achieved a significant milestone on 28 April this year with a record-breaking daily collection of P7.510 billion.
This impressive feat surpassed the agency’s previous highest daily collection of only P6.074 billion on 14 October 2022 by P1.436 billion or 23.64 percent.
The agency’s performance can be attributed to its continuous efforts to implement proper valuation which resulted to a notable increase in revenue collection.
The agency’s achievement of a record-breaking daily collection demonstrates its commitment to achieve its revenue targets contributing to the government’s efforts in generating funds for various programs and projects. It also highlights the BOC’s role in promoting economic growth and development in the country.
BOC Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the agency’s employees and stakeholders for their dedication and hard work that led to this remarkable achievement.
