Former Development Bank of the Philippines president and CEO Emmanuel Herbosa has joined property developer Ovialand as independent board director.
He brings with him more than 40 years of experience in the financial industry. He started his career with the Bank of the Philippine Islands in 1979, went up the ranks until his retirement in 2013 when he was chief operating officer of Ayala Insurance Group.
Herbosa’s postings include serving as executive vice president at the Bank of Commerce in 2014 and as president and CEO of the Philippine Import-Export Credit Agency from 2018 to 2019.
He was with DBP from 2019 till the end of his term in December last year.
