Eton Properties Philippines Inc., the property development arm of tycoon Lucio Tan, has appointed Kyle C. Tan, grandson of the tycoon, as its new president and CEO.
His appointment was announced during the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting on Wednesday.
Kyle has served as company executive director since 2021. He is concurrently executive vice president of Tanduay Distillers Inc., director of Maranaw Hotels and Resort Corp., PNB Global Remittance and Financial Co. (HK) Ltd., Allied Club Inc., Grandspan Development Corp., Victorias Milling Company Inc.
Likewise, Tan is director and COO of Himmel Industries Inc. and Manufacturing Services and Trade Corp., director and treasurer of Macroasia Corp., director and vice chairman of Pan Asia Securities Corp., and vice president of Kilter Realty and Development Corp.
Before joining the real estate unit, Tan worked as software engineer at Microsoft. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and computer science.
Tan also pursued higher studies and completed a master’s degree program in computer science in the same university.
