After only a week of price rollbacks, the oil companies implement price hikes of their products beginning midnight Monday.
Seaoil increased its price by P0.20 per liter for gasoline, P1.05 for diesel and P1.20 for kerosene.
So did Caltex Philippines whose Platinum and Silver gasoline rise P0.20 per liter, diesel by P1.05 per liter and kerosene by P1.20 per liter.
Cleanfuel, Jetti and PTT similarly adjusted its per liter price by P0.20 for gasoline and by P1.05 for diesel.
As of June 20 this year, the price of gasoline (RON95) sold for P61.15 per liter, diesel for P54.55 and kerosene for P67.38, based on Department of Energy data.
Data also show year-to-date adjustments as a net reduction of P4.05 per liter for diesel and P6.35 per liter for kerosene but a net increase of P6.35 per liter for gasoline.
