Oil companies are raising the price of fuel at the pumps beginning just after midnight Tuesday, 18 July.
Seaoil increased the per liter price of its gasoline by P1.90, by P2.10 on diesel and P1.80 on kerosene.
PTT, Cleanfuel, Jetti and Phoenix Petroleum similarly raised the per liter price by P1.90 on their gasoline and by P2.10 on diesel.
Caltex Philippines Inc. also increased the fuel price of its Platinum and Silver gasoline products by P1.90 per liter, diesel by P2.10 per liter and kerosene by P1.80 per liter.
Week old data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show the price per liter of RON95 gasoline costing P65.55, diesel at P55.65 and kerosene at P67.78.
DOE data also show year-to-date net reduction of P2.95 per liter for diesel and P5.50 per liter for kerosene but a net increase of P5.65 per liter for gasoline.
