The Philippine Airlines has partnered with ENGIE, a global leader in low-carbon energy and services, to manage the flag carrier’s decarbonization program.
Under the memorandum of understanding, ENGIE Services (Philippines) and ENGIE GEMS APAC will help PAL manage its resources more efficiently while pursuing its mission of serving the traveling public.

Together, we will explore ways to reduce their environmental impact and foster a greener, more environmentally conscious future for the aviation sector in the Philippines and beyond,” said Thomas Baudlot, chief executive Energy Solutions APAC, Country head Southeast Asia, ENGIE South East Asia said.
Captain Stanley K. Ng, PAL president and chief operating officer, said the airline is focused strongly on connecting the Philippines to markets around the world through its network of nonstop flights.
“Having ENGIE as a key partner helps us manage our resources more efficiently and work towards a more sustainable world in air travel for the benefit of our economy and the traveling public,” he said.
