Angel’s Pizza, a unit of the popular Figaro Coffee Group Inc., on Thursday opened nine new branches over a two-month stretch in key areas in Luzon and the Visayas.
The new branches were in Trece Martires in Cavite; Nueva Ecija; Tuguegarao; Rosario in Cavite; Lucena; Laoag; Baguio Palace Hotel; La Union; and Dumaguete in Negros Oriental. “Right now, we’re being aggressive in opening more and more Angel’s Pizza stores all over the country,” Ace Azarraga, brand and partnership director at Figaro Coffee, said.
“Throughout the last year, we have seen a rise in the popularity of Angel’s Pizza, with many people choosing it as their pasalubong and merienda, as well as sharing their Angel’s Pizza moments on social media,” he said.
Azarraga said the brand can now be found in local markets, even those from far-flung provinces. “Every time we open a new branch, we always feel the immense love of the local community for Angel’s Pizza. We receive so many remarks from our customers about their anticipation for our store openings in cities and towns. Their happiness and excitement inspires us to reach even more Filipinos, especially those who crave for Angel’s Pizza,” he said.
Angel’s Pizza plans to expand to more provinces the rest of the year in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.Established in 2009, Angel’s Pizza operates 155 stores across the country with 35 still under construction.
“Figaro Coffee posts strong results as the consumer environment in the Philippines progress well from the pandemic. Our strongest revenue contributor, Angel’s Pizza, is expanding aggressively and building more loyal customers while our other brands, Figaro Coffee, Tien Ma’s and Cafe Portofino, continue to grow steadily,” Justin Liu, the company’s chairman, said.
