Greenergy Holdings Inc. said Friday that the City of Caloocan has accepted an unsolicited proposal from its wholly-owned unit, Winsun Green Ventures Inc, providing the local government a renewable energy system in its buildings.
The listed renewable energy company said the unsolicited proposal submitted by Winsun involves the financing, design, engineering, procurement, installation, operation and maintenance of solar power systems on buildings owned, administered and/or controlled by the Caloocan City.
Greenergy said with the acceptance of Winsun’s proposal, the Public Private Partnership Selection Committee of the city and Winsun are now authorized to proceed with detailed negotiations on the terms and conditions of the proposed Project.
Financial details of the proposal, including the potential earnings from the project, weren’t immediately disclosed by Greenergy.
