    Diesel, kerosene prices up after three straight weeks of rollback

    After three weeks of price rollbacks, fuel retailers are raising the cost of diesel and kerosene again beginning Tuesday.

    Seaoil has increased its per liter price by P0.30 for diesel and P0.65 for kerosene. Jetti and Clean Fuel also adjusted higher their per liter price by P0.30 of diesel.

    Gasoline prices were to remain steady this time around, though. 

    The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) countries and their allies are scheduled to meet this week to decide on production output adjustment for next year.

    Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that as of 21 November, gasoline (RON95) in Manila sell for P64.65 per liter, diesel for P59.35 per liter and kerosene for P72.46 per liter.

    DOE data also show year-to-date adjustments as a net increase of P12.30 per liter for gasoline, P5.70 per liter for diesel and P1.09 per liter for kerosene.
