AirAsia Philippines rolled out on Monday its very first local-currency ticket sale in all its domestic and international destinations to encourage more Filipinos to travel.
The budget airline said the travel period for one-way base fare of only P1 is from 1 September 2024 to 28 June 2025.
The airline said over 3,000 seats will be available for flights originating from its Manila, Cebu and Clark hubs.
“The piso sale is our commitment to ensuring affordable flights to our guests, especially those who are on a tight budget but would like to have a memorable travel experience,” AirAsia head of communications and public affairs and first officer Steve Dailisan said.
“AirAsia Philippines will continue to diversify its product offerings to cater to the changing needs of our guests, especially those belonging to the Gen Y and Z who are expected to travel more this year and on the lookout for the lowest deals to save money,” he added.
To date, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, and Puerto Princesa remain the top destinations travelers look forward to visiting domestically while Bangkok, Incheon, Taipei, Narita, and Osaka remain on traveler bucket lists for international travels.
AirAsia Philippines flies to a total 13 domestic and 13 international destinations at present.
