The BBC World Questions program is coming to the Philippines on 5 March this year to debate the country’s political and economic future in Manila.
National security, relations with China and the USA, constitutional reform, economic development and the environment will all be up for discussion with a panel of leading politicians, campaigners and academics.
The BBC World Service program, which puts people and their questions at the heart of the debate, will be presented by the BBC correspondent, Jonny Dymond. Jonny will chair the hour-long debate which will be led by questions from the live audience.
The panel will include: * Hon. Gilberto Teodoro Jr – Secretary for National Defence
* Ms Rafaela David – President of the Akbayan Citizens’ Action Party
* Atty. Antonio Carpio – Former associate justice of the Supreme Court
* Professor Richard Heydarian – Journalist and senior lecturer at the University of the Philippines

The program will be recorded in front of a live audience on Tuesday, 5 March at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard and Dr. J. Quintos Street, Manila.
