The National Treasury awarded in full the P30 billion worth of 7-year treasury bonds it offered at the auction Tuesday.
The bond, originally issued last July at a coupon of 6.375 percent, was reissued at a lower average rate of 6.237 percent.
Demand for the treasury bond due 2030 was strong, with total bids reaching P46.5 billion.
The reopening of the bond increased the total outstanding volume of the series to P124.7 billion.
Next week, the BTr will auction P15 billion worth of treasury bills and P30 billion worth of 7-year treasury bonds originally issued in January at a coupon of 6.125 percent.
