Jollibee Foods Corp., the country’s largest fast food chain, said Tuesday it declared a cash dividend worth a total P1.29 billion.
Shareholders on record 9 May will be paid a cash dividend of P1.15 a share on 23 May.
Jollibee shares will trade minus the cash dividend on 8 May.
The cash dividend will be taken from Jollibee’s retained earnings which at the end of 2023 total P42.04 billion.
Jollibee ended 2023 with a store network of 6,885 worldwide, with fast brands such as Highlands Coffee, CBTL, Milksha, Chowking, Jollibee and Mang Inasal. The stores are almost evenly distributed locally and overseas.
The listed food company posted an all-time high revenue of P244.1 billion last year, up 15 percent. Operating profit last year was also at a record high P14.4 billion, up 45 percent year-on-year.
