Foot traffic at PITX seen hitting 150 million this month

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the country’s pioneering landport, on Friday reported hitting the 146 million mark in foot traffic since its inception in November 2018.

The event highlights the company’s growth, popularity, and commitment to deliver exceptional experiences to the commuting public.

“This milestone reflects the trust and loyalty of millions of visitors who have chosen PITX as their preferred transportation hub. We are thrilled to have reached 146 million overall foot traffic since we started operations,” said Jason Salvador, Corporate Affairs and Government Relations head at PITX.

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the support of our valued customers. We are excited to continue on this trajectory and are confident we will surpass 150 million overall foot traffic this end of June,” he added.

PITX attributes its success to a combination of innovative offerings and strategic initiatives designed to enhance the visitor experience. The company has continually evolved to meet the changing needs and preferences of its customers, ensuring a memorable and satisfying experience with every visit.

In line with its commitment to expand services and meet the needs of its customers, PITX announced the upcoming launch of new routes. Starting 13 June, the Solid North bus company will operate new routes to Dagupan and San Carlos, Pangasinan. Additionally, on 14 June, Victory Liner begins operations of a new route to Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The new routes provide more convenient travel options for passengers and enhance connectivity and accessibility to key destinations.

In addition to its transportation services, PITX is experiencing significant success with its office tower operations. The PITX hosts the headquarters of DENR MIMAROPA and DENR EMB CALABARZON, bringing increased business activity and economic growth to the area. These prestigious tenants highlight PITX’s reputation as a prime location for business and government operations.

PITX remains focused on further enhancing its services and expanding its reach. Upcoming projects and initiatives, including the new routes to Dagupan, San Carlos, and Tuguegarao City, are poised to attract even more visitors, ensuring sustained growth and continued success.
