Cebu Pacific (CEB) reported flying nearly 110,000 passengers to Japan in only the first three months this year, exceeding the pre-pandemic level by 20 percent and nearly double the figure from the same period last year.
“Japan has become a top-of-mind destination for Filipino travelers,” Cebu Pacific said.
According to the airline, Filipinos visit Japan for the blend of cultural appreciation and modernity such visits offer.
