Philippine Seven Corp., the domestic licensee of the 7-Eleven convenience store brand, has officially opened its 4,000th store in the Philippines, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. The new store, located in Newport District, Pasay, reflects the company’s commitment to providing convenient services across the nation.
Since opening its first store in Quezon City in February 1984, Philippine Seven has transformed from a modest outlet into a leading player in the competitive convenience store sector. “Celebrating 40 years in the Philippines and opening our 4,000th store is a significant achievement for us. It underscores our commitment to delivering convenience and exceptional service,” said Jose Victor Paterno, president and CEO of Philippine Seven.
The company’s journey has been characterized by steady expansion and a dedication to customer service, as noted by co-founder and current chairman, Jose T. Pardo. “Reaching 4,000 stores is an incredible milestone that reflects the trust and loyalty we’ve earned from our customers over the years. It’s also a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our team,” Pardo stated.
The new store features upgraded amenities, expansive dining spaces, and incorporates sustainable practices, including the use of solar panels. In addition to the Pasay location, Philippine Seven plans to open another store in Angeles City, Pampanga, continuing to grow its brands, including 21 To Go chicken and Cafe Reserve.
This milestone not only celebrates the company’s rich history but also signals its ongoing commitment to being a trusted neighbor to Filipinos nationwide.
