BPI Wealth, the wealth management division of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, has launched the inaugural Wealth Wellness Month, aimed at enhancing financial literacy and empowering Filipinos throughout their financial journey.
The initiative builds on previous successful events like the 9.9 BPI Investment Day and the 8.8 BPI Investival.
“October, being National Financial Planning Month in the U.S., is the perfect time for the Philippines to focus on financial literacy,” said Maria Theresa Marcial, president and CEO of BPI Wealth.
The month-long program features various initiatives under the theme L.I.F.E.: Leading Initiatives for the Financial Empowerment of Filipinos, tailored to meet diverse customer needs.
Key highlights include FinQuest, targeting graduating students with workshops on money management, culminating in a forum on 21 October, and the BPI Wealth Summit on 26 October, offering expert insights and investment opportunities. Additionally, corporate clients can attend Building Better Futures on 22 October, focusing on retirement planning.
The month will conclude with Beyond Wealth on 29 October, a webinar on estate planning for BPI Wealth employees. “This represents a pivotal moment in our commitment to supporting Filipinos at every financial stage,” Marcial said.
