CebPac expands domestic routes from Iloilo hub

Cebu Pacific announced on Monday its plan to enhance inter-island connectivity by adding three new domestic routes from its Iloilo hub, set to launch next month.

Beginning 1 December, the Gokongwei-led airline will offer daily flights between Iloilo and Tagbilaran. This will be followed by the Iloilo-Daraga (Legazpi) route, which will commence on December 2 with flights operating three times a week. The Iloilo-Dumaguete route will also kick off on 3 December, providing thrice-weekly services.

Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer, expressed enthusiasm for the new routes. “We are excited to introduce three new domestic routes from Iloilo, which comes just in time for the holiday season when many Filipinos go the extra mile to visit loved ones in different provinces,” he stated.

Lao emphasized the airline’s commitment to improving air travel accessibility. “At Cebu Pacific, we continue to explore new opportunities to bring every Juan closer together as we remain committed to making air travel more convenient and affordable across the Philippines,” he added.

With the introduction of these direct flights, Cebu Pacific will expand its service to a total of 14 destinations from Iloilo, including two international routes to Hong Kong and Singapore. The airline operates an extensive network of 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Cebu Pacific is known for its modern fleet, which includes nine Airbus A330s, 40 Airbus A320s, 23 Airbus A321s, and 15 ATR turboprop aircraft, ensuring a robust and wide-reaching network across the Philippines.
