PAL moves to JFK’s new Terminal One in 2026

The Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced on Wednesday that it will shift its operations to the new Terminal One at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport upon its opening in 2026. Presently based at the existing Terminal 1, PAL is the first Southeast Asian airline to commit to the new facility, enhancing its presence in the U.S. east coast.

The terminal will serve as PAL’s main gateway, promising passengers a modern, efficient, and comfortable travel experience.

PAL is the only airline providing direct flights between the Philippines and the U.S. east coast, operating thrice weekly between JFK and Manila with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. “This partnership underscores our commitment to excellence and innovation in service,” said PAL president Stanley K. Ng.

Jennifer Aument, CEO of New Terminal One, expressed excitement about collaborating to enhance the travel experience for PAL customers. The new Terminal One, set to open in phases starting in 2026, will be JFK’s largest terminal, spanning 2.6 million square feet.
