GoTyme Bank has partnered with foodpanda in introducing a new loan program designed to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within foodpanda’s delivery network. The program aims to provide flexible financing solutions to partner vendors and addresses critical funding challenges exacerbated by rising operational costs and limited access to financial resources.
The loan program offers streamlined access to capital at competitive interest rates, with a simplified application and repayment process. It complements foodpanda’s existing “Negosyo Like a Panda” initiative, which already supports business loans for vendors.
Lhecks De Castro, finance director at foodpanda Philippines, said the partnership commits to create accessible loan products tailored for MSMEs. Nate Clarke, president and CEO of GoTyme Bank, emphasized the importance of supporting Filipino entrepreneurs, saying the collaboration significantly enhances the financial landscape for MSMEs, allowing them to optimize cash flow and focus on core operations.
Both companies aim to empower Filipino businesses, ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive in a challenging economic environment.
