AyalaLand Logistics expands cold storage network with new facility in Pampanga

AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) has launched its fifth cold storage facility, Artico Mabalacat, in Pampanga Technopark, reinforcing its commitment to the growing logistics sector in Central Luzon. The state-of-the-art facility features 4,000 pallet positions spread across 19 cold rooms, with temperature ranges from 5°C to -25°C, addressing rising demand for temperature-controlled storage in the region.

“AllHC’s new cold storage facility is a key part of our strategy to enhance the logistics and industrial real estate market by providing high-quality, efficient infrastructure,” said Patrick C. Avila, COO of ALLHC.

The Artico Mabalacat facility, strategically located with easy access to major expressways and proximity to key infrastructures like Clark International Airport and Subic Bay International Terminal, will cater to industries such as frozen meat, seafood, pharmaceuticals, and industrial goods. It will be registered with regulatory bodies like the Board of Investments, National Meat Inspection Service, and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.

The expansion brings ALLHC’s total cold storage capacity to 20,000 pallet positions. It is part of the company’s broader goal to strengthen the logistics supply chain in Luzon, complementing its ALogis Mabalacat warehouse development. This integrated effort is expected to contribute significantly to local business growth, foster economic activity, and enhance the efficiency of distribution networks across the region.

“Cold storage facilities are vital for preserving the safety and quality of perishable goods, which is essential in meeting the demands of both local and global markets,” noted Merry Jane Espinosa, Regional Fish Inspector of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.

The new facility supports ALLHC’s broader mission to position Pampanga Technopark as a leading logistics hub, catering to the Philippines’ rising need for robust and reliable logistics infrastructure.
