Smart Communications, Inc. has joined forces with Asia United Bank (AUB) to enhance the accessibility of Smart and TNT prepaid load nationwide through AUB’s HelloMoney app. This collaboration will enable over six million HelloMoney customers to conveniently purchase prepaid load and connect to Smart’s fast mobile network using their smartphones.
Gia Palafox, head of sales and development at Smart, said the partnership will open new doors for customers and offer more ways to access e-load products. To promote the service, Smart and AUB recently launched a consumer promo, giving users a chance to win an iPhone 15 Plus or cash credits when purchasing load via the app.
AUB’s HelloMoney app allows users to open a prepaid banking account that functions as a secure e-wallet for 24/7 mobile banking transactions. Wilfredo E. Rodriguez Jr., executive vice president of AUB, highlighted that the partnership with Smart ensures seamless connectivity for customers on a secure platform.
Since its introduction in 2003, Smart e-load helped revolutionize mobile communication in the Philippines, making it one of the fastest-selling products in the market.
