GT Capital highlights leadership changes at Federal Land

GT Capital Holdings, Inc. announced on Monday key leadership changes within its property subsidiaries—Federal Land, Inc. and Federal Land NRE Global (FNG), its joint venture with Japan’s Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. These changes will take effect on January 1, signaling a new phase of growth for the companies.

William Thomas F. Mirasol, who currently serves as the president of both Federal Land and FNG, has been promoted to vice chairman of Federal Land, while maintaining his role as president of FNG. Meanwhile, Jose Mari H. Banzon, previously the finance director of Federal Land, has been appointed president of Federal Land, stepping into the role previously held by Mirasol.

These leadership changes come as GT Capital enters the new year with optimism for continued growth across its real estate investments. The holding company expressed confidence that both Mirasol and Banzon, in their new positions, will drive the next phase of development and innovation for Federal Land and FNG, contributing to the expansion of property offerings that meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.

Mirasol, who joined Federal Land in 2019, brings over three decades of real estate management experience. His leadership has been pivotal in positioning Federal Land as a multi-award-winning property developer, spearheading key international partnerships and joint ventures with top global brands. In his new role, Mirasol will continue to lead strategic partnerships and oversee Federal Land’s growing international portfolio.

Banzon, a seasoned industry executive, returns to Federal Land after a successful tenure at SM Development Corporation (SMDC), where he was responsible for expanding SMDC’s market presence. Banzon’s prior experience at Federal Land from 2006 to 2013 and his expertise in property development will be instrumental in driving the company’s future growth.
