In a heartwarming demonstration of holiday spirit, BDO Foundation brought Christmas cheer to 50,000 families nationwide through its annual Handog Sa ‘Yo gift-giving initiative. Partnering with key non-governmental organizations such as Ako ang Saklay, Ako Bakwit, Caritas Philippines, and Tanging Yaman Foundation, the foundation spread goodwill through the distribution of Noche Buena gift packs.
The festive packs, filled with holiday food staples, were delivered to families in 90 parishes and dioceses across the country, with the help of over 500 BDO employee volunteers. This year’s initiative aimed to brighten the season for families in various communities by offering a simple yet meaningful contribution.
“We hope that our efforts will make Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most,” said Mario Deriquito, President of BDO Foundation. “The Handog Sa ‘Yo program is about bringing joy and fostering the spirit of bayanihan through kindness and generosity.”
By reaching out to thousands of families, BDO Foundation continues to uphold its commitment to corporate social responsibility, creating a ripple effect of warmth and hope during the Christmas season.
