DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has announced a significant milestone in its growth, doubling its active user base in 2024 to 40 million from 20 million in 2023. Chairman Eusebio Tanco expressed confidence that the company’s user base will continue to grow, albeit at a slower pace in the future, with the firm now extending its reach to include the informal sector.
The company also unveiled its “Pusta de Peligro” Responsible Gaming campaign at Gateway Mall in Quezon City, aiming to promote safe gaming practices. The campaign is backed by three impactful short films that address real-life decision-making scenarios and the importance of responsible play. Tanco emphasized the need for players to “play what they can afford,” further underscoring the company’s commitment to responsible gaming.
DigiPlus has made substantial investments in educational programs, financial coaching, and partnerships with mental health professionals to support this initiative. A key feature of the company’s approach includes self-exclusion tools for players, enabling them to control their gaming habits with customizable limits on time and money spent.
The campaign’s official launch also featured a panel discussion on early intervention and collaboration with experts, reinforcing DigiPlus’ focus on prevention and education. Tanco expressed hope that the campaign would stimulate a broader national conversation about gaming responsibility, aiming to provide both players and their families with a safer and more informed entertainment experience.
With a strong focus on user growth and social responsibility, DigiPlus positions itself as a leader in both business expansion and ethical gaming practices.
