JoyRide, the Philippines’ leading homegrown superapp, has entered into a strategic partnership with PLDT Enterprise to enhance its services and extend its operations nationwide. By integrating a range of PLDT’s connectivity and communication solutions, JoyRide aims to improve both customer experience and operational efficiency.
Under the new collaboration, JoyRide will utilize PLDT Enterprise’s suite of products—including Smart Messaging Suite, Smart Bro, Bizload, Smart Postpaid, SIP Trunk, and Direct Subscriber Line—to support its rapid expansion across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. These solutions will address JoyRide’s growing operational demand as the company extends its service offerings, including the recently launched JoyRide Bus service, to new regions such as Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Baguio, and Cagayan.
PLDT Enterprise’s technology will enable JoyRide to provide real-time customer engagement, enhance internal communication, and streamline its high-volume call operations. The partnership also aims to improve mobility and create new opportunities for drivers, furthering JoyRide’s commitment to delivering safer, more efficient, and affordable transportation services to Filipino commuters.
“This collaboration not only empowers JoyRide’s growth but also contributes to the sustainability and efficiency of urban transportation across the country,” said Mitch Locsin, first vice president at PLDT Enterprise. Neil Sherwin Yu, president of JoyRide, emphasized that the partnership strengthens their dedication to enhancing the customer experience, reinforcing their mission to make every journey a “joyride.”
