Cebu Pacific targets 30M passengers in 2025, expands Clark hub

Cebu Pacific (CEB) has set an ambitious target of carrying 30 million passengers in 2025, driven by the launch of new routes and an increase in flight capacity. This goal represents growth from the 24.5 million passengers it served in 2024, which marked a 17.6 percent rise from prior year.

According to CEB president and chief commercial officer, Xander Lao, the airline projects mid-20 percent growth in passenger numbers this year, translating to an additional 6 million passengers. CEB plans to further fuel this expansion by introducing direct flights from Clark to popular Palawan destinations—El Nido and Coron—beginning 30 March 2025.

These new routes will enhance travel options for passengers in the Greater Manila Area and Northern Luzon, who can now explore Palawan’s world-renowned beaches and marine life. CEB is also shifting its Cebgo flights for Masbate and Siargao from NAIA to Clark, in line with transportation regulations.

With the addition of these destinations, Cebu Pacific will operate 15 domestic and international routes from Clark International Airport. Lao emphasized the growing importance of Clark as a gateway to the Philippines, highlighting the airline’s commitment to making travel more accessible and affordable for all.

Cebu Pacific currently serves 37 domestic and 26 international destinations, offering competitive fares through ongoing seat sales and promotions.
