A. Soriano Corp., a diversified investment holding company, on Tuesday announced the passing of its vice chairman and director, Eduardo J. Soriano, at the age of 69.
In a heartfelt statement, the company expressed its grief, with Chairman Andres Soriano III and the Board of Directors offering their deepest condolences to Eduardo’s family and loved ones. “We are profoundly grateful for his invaluable contributions and service to Anscor,” the statement read.
Eduardo Soriano’s legacy at A. Soriano Corp. spans over four decades. He served as a director since May 1980, and vice chairman from 1990. In addition, he held the position of treasurer from 1990 to 2018 and was chairman of Anscor Holdings Inc. He also served as president of The Andres Soriano Foundation, Inc. and was a director at Phelps Dodge International Philippines, Inc.
Eduardo graduated in 1977 from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics, majoring in History. His impact on both the company and the wider community will be remembered for his leadership, vision, and dedicated service.
