    Converge taps AI analytics to decode customer behavior

    Broadband giant Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is ramping up its digital transformation by integrating AI-powered analytics into its operations, a strategic move aimed at deepening customer insight and accelerating product development. Central to this initiative is the adoption of Tableau, Salesforce’s agentic AI analytics platform, to unify customer data and enable smarter, faster decision-making across the company.

    With a growing subscriber base now exceeding 2.6 million, Converge is embracing data-driven intelligence to unlock the “black box” of customer behavior—historically a pain point for operational strategy. “We cannot afford to have scattered sources of information about our customers,” said Eugene Yeo, Converge chief executive advisor, emphasizing the critical role of reliable market intelligence in staying competitive.

    The deployment of Tableau marks a significant commercial pivot for Converge, which is transitioning from a traditional telco to a full-fledged technology company. The move allows the company to streamline its insight-to-action process, equipping executives and managed service partners (MSPs) nationwide with real-time intelligence to tailor products and improve customer experience.

    Yeo, who was recently appointed to the global Tableau Advisory Board, noted that frontline sales and support teams will be trained to utilize these tools to better understand local market dynamics, such as payment challenges and product relevance. “These are the kinds of customer needs that will be made clear once they use the tool,” he said.

    Salesforce’s Tableau, acquired in 2019, has doubled down on its AI capabilities with the recent rollout of Tableau Next, part of its broader agentic AI evolution. The platform’s deep learning features are expected to further Converge’s ability to respond to market signals with precision.

    By aligning its operational strategy with intelligent analytics, Converge is not only enhancing customer engagement but also positioning itself at the forefront of the region’s digital economy.
