JNEC expands retail reach with La Rose Noire deal

The energy firm Jin Navitas Electric Corp. (JNEC) has been selected as retail electricity supplier for the La Rose Noire’s manufacturing facility in Clark, Pampanga, the companies announced Sunday. The agreement, made under the government’s Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) program, allows qualified large electricity users to choose their power suppliers and negotiate rates.

La Rose Noire, a major producer of artisan pastries and bread distributed to 60 countries, said the partnership is critical to ensuring power reliability and cost efficiency at its export-focused facility. JNEC vice president Jose Alfonso Miras described the selection as a significant trust placed in the firm, emphasizing its commitment to service excellence.

The deal boosts JNEC’s presence in the competitive retail electricity market and aligns with its broader portfolio, which includes coal, diesel, and solar assets such as the 135 MW Palm Concepcion coal plant and the upcoming 35 MW Ajuy 1 solar project in Iloilo.
