DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has expanded its executive leadership team, appointing Tommy Hu as chief executive officer and Rick Li as chief digital officer, signaling its push for global market penetration and deeper digital innovation in the face of intensifying domestic competition in online gaming.
Tommy Hu, a veteran software engineer and digital strategist with over 20 years of experience, steps into the CEO role after helping lead DigiPlus’s transformation from a traditional land-based gaming company to the Philippines’ leading digital entertainment brand. As a key architect of BingoPlus—the country’s top digital bingo platform—Hu was instrumental in driving platform modernization and embedding a culture of innovation. His previous roles include senior technical leadership at Huawei Technologies.
“Hu brings not only technical depth, but the vision, clarity, and global perspective required to lead a digital entertainment brand on the rise,” the company said. He will now spearhead DigiPlus’s international expansion and strengthen its benchmarks in innovation, player protection, and responsible gaming.
Joining him is Rick Li, named chief digital officer. Li brings more than 15 years of fintech and digital payments expertise, most recently serving as head of solutions for South and Southeast Asia at Ant Group, where he led cross-border tech strategies and regional digital transformation initiatives. At DigiPlus, Li will lead digital strategy and product innovation to sharpen the firm’s competitive edge in the evolving gaming-fintech convergence.
Both appointments underscore DigiPlus’s ambition to become a leading force in regulated global gaming and digital entertainment.
