Hotel101 Global debuts on Nasdaq July 1

DoubleDragon Corp.—the brainchild of Jollibee’s Tony Tan Caktiong and Mang Inasal pioneer Injap Sia—said Tuesday that its subsidiary, Hotel101 Global, will begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “HBNB” starting July 1 (evening Manila time). The prop-tech hospitality platform recently celebrated its Nasdaq bell-ringing ceremony, marking a milestone for Filipino enterprise on the global stage.

With an initial equity valuation of USD 2.3 billion, Hotel101 is the first Filipino-owned company to list and trade on Nasdaq—a major achievement signaling international investor confidence. This affiliate represents DoubleDragon’s innovative pivot in global real estate: a diversified domestic property portfolio paired with Hotel101’s exportable, asset-light business model.

“HBnB” delivers the reliability of branded hotels combined with proprietary tech systems and a standardized room experience—appealing to investors and travelers worldwide. The model is also expected to drive substantial foreign exchange inflows back into the Philippine economy.

The rollout is already in motion. Hotel101 Global is nearing completion of its first overseas project in Madrid, Spain, marking the beginning of its ambitious goal: 1 million rooms across 100 countries. This entry into Spain will serve as both a commercial venture and a platform to elevate the Philippine brand of hospitality internationally.

As Hotel101 prepares to trade on Nasdaq, the structure offers dual benefits: providing an expansion vehicle abroad while strengthening DoubleDragon’s wider property ecosystem at home. Investors will now have direct access to the story of Filipino-led global hospitality innovation, while Manila-based stakeholders may benefit from additional foreign capital and brand momentum.

With “HBNB” on Nasdaq, Hotel101 Global is no longer just a dream—it’s a publicly traded reality that could reshape both the global hotel landscape and the Philippine investment map.
