Ayala welcomes 100 global interns for 2025 Summer Program

The Ayala Group has launched its 2025 Summer Internship Program (AGSIP), welcoming 100 students from 20 schools across the Philippines, the UK, the US, and Canada for a six-week immersion designed to equip them with real-world experience and instill a values-driven approach to leadership.

AGSIP blends practical on-the-job training with personal development, reflecting Ayala’s commitment to nurturing next-generation talent for both the conglomerate and the broader business landscape. “The internship provides the students not just practical, on-the-job experience in Ayala companies but also guides them in identifying their own personal purpose and values,” said Ayala Corporation Chief Human Resources Officer Paco Milán.

The program features site visits to Ayala business units—including a tour of ACEN’s renewable energy plant in Laguna—and engagement in sustainability activities such as planting 500 native trees. Interns also attend masterclasses led by HR executives from Ayala Land, ACEN, BPI, and Globe, focusing on how purpose and values inform corporate strategy.

A highlight of the internship is an upcoming hackathon hosted by GCash, in partnership with AWS and BPI, where students will apply generative AI and no-code tools for business problem-solving. The initiative reflects Ayala’s growing focus on innovation and digital inclusion in its corporate and commercial policy.

The program will culminate in a leadership session featuring four senior Ayala executives, offering insights into how core values shape critical decision-making across the conglomerate’s diverse portfolio.
