P&A Grant Thornton has released its inaugural sustainability report, signaling a strategic move from compliance-focused operations to values-based leadership in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
Unveiled by chief sustainability officer Chris Ferareza, the report outlines the firm’s internal sustainability journey, which began in early 2022, and its broader commitment to helping clients adapt to evolving ESG standards. “This report is more than a document; it is about transformation—a reflection of our journey and the values we choose to stand for,” Ferareza said.
The report details initiatives such as energy-efficient office practices, waste reduction, and employee engagement programs, and highlights the establishment of a dedicated sustainability services arm aimed at guiding businesses through complex ESG requirements.
P&A emphasized that sustainability is now a business imperative, especially in climate-vulnerable countries like the Philippines, where private sector leadership is vital for sustainable development. The firm positions itself as both a practitioner and enabler of ESG integration across industries.
Future sustainability reports will track the firm’s progress, offer insights, and maintain transparency in its commitments, the company said.
