CebPac takes delivery of 100th aircraft, bolsters A330neo fleet leadership

Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of a new Airbus A330neo, becoming the first Philippine carrier to operate a 100-aircraft fleet — a key corporate milestone that highlights both scale and strategic fleet modernization.

The 459-seat widebody jet, which arrived in Manila from Airbus’ Toulouse facility on Friday, is the 12th A330neo in the airline’s roster, cementing Cebu Pacific’s position as the largest A330neo operator in the Asia-Pacific region. It is also the second of four A330neos set to arrive this year, following the first delivery in March.

“This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to making air travel more accessible,” said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao. “A larger fleet allows us to operate more efficiently, expand connectivity, and pass on savings to our customers.”

Cebu Pacific expects to take delivery of seven more aircraft in 2025 as it ramps up operations to meet growing travel demand. The airline flew 2.2 million passengers in June, up 7.9 percent year-over-year, and 13.9 million in the first half of 2025 — a 21 percent increase from the same period last year.

The A330neo supports Cebu Pacific’s long-haul and high-density regional operations with better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The airline’s current fleet includes 12 A330s, 40 A320s, 26 A321s, and 22 ATR turboprops, making it one of the youngest and most diversified fleets in the region.
