Ayala, AFP launch career assistance program for uniformed personnel

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Ayala Corp. have launched the Saludo sa Serbisyo Career Assistance Program in a landmark event held at Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2, reinforcing a growing public-private partnership aimed at supporting the transition of military personnel into civilian careers.

The initiative, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MOU), builds on Ayala’s broader Saludo sa Serbisyo program, which offers access to housing, car ownership, healthcare, livelihood, and now expanded career support for both active and retired uniformed personnel, civilian employees, and their families.

The launch was attended by key dignitaries including AFP chief of staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., DND undersecretary Angelito De Leon, Ayala chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, president and CEO Cezar P. Consing, and other senior executives. The first batch of program participants also joined the event.

“This program is both timely and meaningful,” General Brawner remarked. “Ayala opens doors for our personnel to pursue new careers and continue serving the nation in meaningful ways.”

Ayala president Cezar P. Consing emphasized the corporation’s longstanding commitment: “Few are more deserving of the chance to thrive than the people who keep our country safe. This initiative reflects our mission to help build the Philippines by empowering those who serve it.”

The career assistance component includes training, job matching, and career counseling, underscoring the commercial and corporate value of inclusive workforce development and nation-building through cross-sector collaboration.
