Radius Telecoms, Inc., a subsidiary of Meralco under the leadership of Manuel V. Pangilinan, has entered into a strategic partnership with Ignite Telecommunications, Inc. to enhance high-speed, reliable connectivity in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
This collaboration builds on Radius’ 2023 agreement with Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. (FBDC), the developer of the 27-kilometer Bonifacio Global City Underground Conduit Network (BGCUCN), which spans the entire commercial and residential zones of BGC. Under the arrangement, Radius will deploy fiber optic cables and critical telecom components using leased conduit space from FBDC to support next-generation connectivity infrastructure.
By partnering with Ignite, Radius aims to accelerate deployment, broaden coverage, and improve service efficiency by leveraging shared access to the BGCUCN. The synergy allows both companies to optimize operational costs while delivering premium ICT solutions.
Ignite, known for its robust internet, network, and ICT services, joins Radius — which operates a 11,000-km fiber optic network across Mega Manila, Clark, and Cebu — in delivering enterprise-grade solutions such as Direct Internet Access, Managed Services, and cloud-based SD-WAN and Zero Trust networking.
The partnership marks a significant step toward establishing BGC as a smart, fully connected district, reflecting broader ambitions to advance the country’s digital infrastructure.
