VITRO Inc., the data center arm of ePLDT and part of the PLDT Group, has launched VITRO Santa Rosa (VSR)—the country’s largest and first AI-ready hyperscale data center, further cementing its leadership in the country’s digital infrastructure sector.
VSR is Rated 3 certified for both design and facility under the global TIA-942 standard and is purpose-built to meet Rated 4 standards, with 50MW capacity and over 4,500 racks. It is strategically located outside Metro Manila’s hazard zones and offers carrier-neutral access to seven major telcos.
The facility hosts the country’s first NVIDIA-powered GPU servers, enabling ePLDT’s AI Stack—a full-suite solution offering enterprises on-demand access to high-performance AI infrastructure without major capital outlay.
Integrated with PLDT’s domestic and global fiber networks, including the Jupiter and Asia Direct Cable systems, VSR strengthens the Philippines’ position as a potential regional AI and cloud hub.
PLDT chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan said the initiative aligns with the Group’s mission to power industries, accelerate AI adoption, and support national development goals, particularly UN SDG 9 on industry and innovation.
